Add Website Folder with Files to Backup

Settings / Folders / Add Folder to Backup

Go to Settings > Folders > Folders to Backup > Add Folder

  • Archive name : Enter the name of the archive, used as prefix in the name of your backup archive. Format : files_backup_name.
  • Select the folder to backup : use the integrated folders browser to navigate into your web hosting folders. Click on the radio button to select the folder of your choice.
  • Subdirectories : select the filter you want to apply in the subdirectories of your folder
    • All subdirectories : the folder and all the contained subdirectories will be added to backup. Be careful to do not archive temporary and cache folders. They can be a huge web hosting resources and space consuming, for not needed files if you have to restore.
    • No subdirectories : only the files in the root of your folder will be added to backup.
    • Skip subdirectories : skip the list of directories to do not add to backup.
  • Subdirectories list : is used if you have selected “Skip subdirectories”, enter the list of subdirectories separated by coma. Format : subdirectory1/,subdirectory2/subdir2-1/
  • Files extensions : select the filter you want to apply to files extensions
    • All extensions : all the files will be added to the backup.
    • Select extensions : if you want to backup files with specific extensions.
    • Skip extensions : if you want to do not backup files with specific extensions.
  • Extensions list : is used if you have selected “Select extensions” or “Skip extensions”. Enter a list of extensions separated by coma. Format : .jpg,configuration.php
  • Files sizes : select the filter type for file size
    • All sizes : all the files sizes are added to the backup.
    • Select sizes inside interval : files with size inside an interval will be selected.
    • Select sizes outside interval : files with size outside an interval will be selected.
  • Sizes interval : is used if you have selected “Select sizes inside interval” or “Select sizes outside interval”. Enter the sizes, in kb, for the interval of your choice.
  • Backup every : select the period between two backups.
  • Directions : select 2 directions where to send your backups.
